Seamless links from the family room and dining area to a corner alfresco area provide plenty of potential for indoor and outdoor entertaining in Celebration Homes’ Verve display, at Austin Cove, South Yunderup.
Extensive glazing keeps the alfresco area and garden in sight from these two rooms and the central kitchen, and brings natural light into every corner of the casual living zone.
Although it’s not included in the price, a cabana with barbecue area in the backyard of this display gives homebuyers an idea of what can be achieved.
Sales and marketing manager Anthony Staltari said the Verve offered several design features that created a stylish, nautical-themed home suited to growing families.
“The home is designed with a strong focus on the main living areas, and its modern galley-style kitchen is centrally positioned overlooking the open-plan family and dining rooms, to create inviting entertainment zones that spill out to the alfresco area,” Mr Staltari said.
“The main living area also offers the opportunity for parents to supervise children doing homework or working on the computer, through a handy window attached to the rear study.
“The rear cabana, with barbecue and outdoor dining area, offers an attractive location for parties all year round.”
The Verve has 207sqm of internal living space, plus the corner alfresco area and a double garage. Its floor plan offers a practical combination of spacious communal areas and comfortable private spaces for adults and children.
At the front of the house, a boxed screen wall divides two doorways to the well-proportioned theatre room, giving it a degree of separation without closing it completely.
Beyond the entry, the casual living zone is big and bright, with the kitchen at its hub and the family room and dining area on each side of the corner alfresco area.
The kitchen has CaesarStone benchtops, stainless-steel cooking appliances, a two-door pantry and a double sink centred on a long island bench with a breakfast bar on its outside edge. There’s a door from the garage in one corner of the dining area.
Bedrooms are arranged in an L shape from the front to the back of the house, with the main suite to one side of the entry and three minor bedrooms opening from a short hall off the casual zone, with the laundry, bathroom and a study.
The main suite has a spacious sleeping area, deep walk-in robe and airy ensuite with five-door vanity unit, outsized shower and separate toilet.
Each minor bedroom has a single built-in robe.
Outside, the Verve has plenty of street appeal, with neutral rendered walls and Colorbond roof, plus a feature blade wall and slim posts supporting the central portico, and double garage with remote-controlled sectional door.
